Description

Wellington Arch is an archway that serves as the north entrance to the Victoria estate in Great Yarmouth, built in 1846 by John Brown. The arch is made of gault brick with rendered details. It features a plain semicircular rendered arch with mouldings and a keyblock. On either side, there are plain giant pilasters that rise to block entablatures. Above the arch, there is a projecting cornice topped with a simple balustrade. There are also similar pedestrian arches on both sides of the main arch. The structure was restored in 1980.
