Description

The ruins of the Church of St. Edmund are located on the north side of West Caister West Road. This parish church dates from the late 15th century and is constructed from coursed rubble flint with ashlar quoins. The remains include a fragment of the west tower and a portion of the north nave wall. The tower is three stories high and unbuttressed, lacking window embrasures. The nave originally featured angle buttresses at the west end.
