Description
This is a group of seven chest tombs made of limestone panels over brick, located approximately 128 metres east of the Church of St Nicholas in Great Yarmouth. They date from the third quarter of the 19th century. Among the tombs is a memorial to the Burroughs family from 1854, featuring Gothic panels on the sides. Immediately to the north is a plain memorial for Mary Bloom, dated 1854 and 1858. Further north is the memorial for William Yetts, from 1863, which has tapering fluted corners on lion-foot bases. To the east is the memorial for Marianne Tapton, dated 1874 and 1875.
