Description

The gates and gate piers to Holiday House were constructed in the early 20th century. The wrought iron gates feature a dog rail and intersecting braces, with a central monogram "EG," representing Edward Gurney Buxton, who owned Catton Hall from 1909 to 1929. The gate piers are made of cast iron and have a plain cornice. These structures are included for their group value.
