Description

This is an early 19th-century miller’s house with attached outbuildings, constructed of red brick, colourwashed, and roofed with concrete pantiles. The main facade is three bays wide. A central 20th-century part-glazed door sits within a double reveal and is topped by an elliptical gauged brick arch. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a flat gauged brick arch. The roof is hipped and has two rear stacks. Behind the house is a two-story outshut, and to the north are single-story outbuildings, one of which has a later inserted garage door. The building is included on the list for its group value.
