Description

Pryde House dates to the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a steeply-pitched pantile roof. The house is two storeys with attics. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath flat, gauged arches on the ground floor. The facade has five bays, which are irregularly spaced. A central doorway features a simple surround and a canopy supported by console brackets. The south gable is shaped, and a brick chimney stack is positioned slightly off-centre. A blocked attic window opening is visible in the south gable. A later two-storey wing was added to the east, featuring casement windows and three shaped gables.
