Description

Nos 3 and 5 St Brides are a pair of 18th-century brick houses, partially colourwashed, with a hipped pantile roof. The buildings are three storeys high and feature sash windows with glazing bars and architraves. Gauged arches frame the ground and first floor openings. The eaves are detailed with brick dog-tooth ornamentation. Two chimney stacks are present: one central and one on the east side.

No 3 has a central doorway with a simple moulded surround and a two-leaf panelled door. No 5 has a more elaborate doorcase with fluted pilasters in its east wall. A blocked window opening is visible in the east wall. A catslide roof extends along the north side. A low brick boundary wall runs along the east side, incorporating a doorway leading to No 5.
