Description

No 1 on Norwich Road is an 18th-century building with later additions. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and is characterized by plain brick pilasters. The windows are sashes and fixed lights with glazing bars, set within semi-circular headed openings. The west elevation includes a central doorway with a cambered arch and a moulded eaves course. A central chimney stack is topped with four chamfered chimney shafts. There is a two-storey link to No 3, which has a lead flat roof and a semi-circular headed doorway. The east elevation also features sashes with glazing bars and flat rubbed arches.
