Description

Number 16 on Red Lion Street is a building that has been re-faced in the 19th century, although it is part of an earlier structure. It features red brick construction and a steep-pitched pantile roof that is hipped with a gablet on the south side. The building has two storeys and includes modern casements and a shop front. On the west side, there is a wooden eaves cornice. To the east, there is a two-storey range that is partly timber framed, with brick and colourwashed elements, also featuring casements. A brick chimney stack is located on the ridge line and at the east gable.
