Description
Rose Cottage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a black glazed pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and has a facade with three bays, each containing sash windows with glazing bars and flat gauged arches. The gables are parapeted with brick tumbling, and there are internal gable chimney stacks. The central doorway is framed by a wooden doorcase with Doric pilasters and an entablature, along with panelled reveals. The door itself is bolection-moulded and includes a fanlight with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a wooden bracketed eaves cornice. At the rear, there is a catslide extension that has a sash window in each gable.
