Description

Buxton Lodge is an early 18th-century farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick with a steeply-pitched roof covered in smut pantiles. The facade is arranged with three bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor openings are topped with rubbed brick arches. A central doorway is flanked by moulded brick pilasters and has an entablature. A 20th-century half-glazed door is now in place. The gables are parapeted and coped with moulded brick and stone finials, and contain 20th-century casement windows. A 20th-century lean-to extension has been added to the north side.
