Description
Middle Farm House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and later. It is constructed of red brick and features a reed-thatched roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, following a lobby entrance plan. The main facade faces south and includes a four-window range with two- and three-light casements, some of which are from the 20th century. The openings have been altered over time. The entrance bay is off-centre and slightly advanced, with a two-light casement above the entrance door. There is a later trellis porch with a pitched roof. The west gable is rendered and ashlar, with an attic window that has a brick drip mould. To the west side, there is a one-storey thatched wing, and on the north side, there is a pantiled lean-to with a flat-roofed dormer. The casements include some from the 20th century.
