Description
Nos 28 and 30 on Red Lion Street are 18th-century buildings constructed of red brick with a steep black-glazed pantile roof. They stand two storeys high with an attic and feature a three-bay facade, although the central opening is blank. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and have flat rubbed brick arches above them. The corners of the building are accentuated with brick pilasters, and there is a wooden eaves cornice. A later shop front has been added, and a brick string course runs along the building. The north side has a door and two window openings, one of which has lead glazing. On the west side, there are two gabled dormers with casement windows. Additionally, there is a two-storey wing to the east that has a shaped gable.
