Description
South Lodge is a former lodge of Catton Hall, built in the 19th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick and features a roof made of hexagonal slates. The building has a square plan and is a single storey. The facade facing the carriage drive includes two windows and a central four-panel door, which is framed by a stucco surround with plain pilasters and an entablature. The casement windows have stucco architraves. The south-east corner of the building is chamfered for a stucco panel. There is a plain cornice at the parapet eaves, a hipped roof with lead rolls, and a central gault brick chimney that has a brick cornice and pots.
