Description
Woolsey's Farm Cartshed is an early 19th-century structure located 30 meters south of the farmhouse on Salhouse Road in Woodbastwick. It is built of brick and features a pantiled roof. The cartshed has an open front and is supported by an arcade of timber posts that create six cart bays. The structure includes tie beams of queen strut trusses with clasped through-purlins. Although slightly later than other farm buildings, it is part of an integrated and unusually complete 18th-century farmstead, which also includes the farmhouse, coach house, stable, barn, and shelter sheds.
