Description

12 and 14 Bridge Street are early 19th-century shops with living space above. The buildings are constructed of cut flint dressed with gault brick and feature a pantile roof. They rise three stories and are arranged in five bays. Number 14 retains a mid-19th-century plate-glass shop front with four bays beneath a fascia board, while number 12 has a late 20th-century shop front. The first floor has five unhorned sash windows with 6/6 glazing bars, and the second floor features five 3/3 sash windows. The roof is gabled, although the internal gable-end stacks were removed in the 20th century. The side returns are entirely brick.
