Description
Ganister Hall is a former farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a black pantiled roof. The building has a nearly square plan and stands two storeys high with a basement. The main facade consists of three bays of sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath skewback arches. The basement windows are blind. At the front, there is a panelled door located at the top of six stone steps, which are accompanied by metal railings and swept handrails. The doorcase is adorned with a traceried semicircular fanlight and simple pilasters. The roof is hipped and includes a central stack.
