Description
Home Farm Barn is a 17th-century three-stead threshing barn that has been converted into a workshop. It features dated tie irons marked TC-67 on both gables. The barn is constructed of red brick set on a flint plinth and has a steeply pitched roof covered with corrugated French pantiles. There is a waggon entrance with double doors in the west wall. The gables are parapeted with tumbling-in, and the south gable includes inserted windows on three levels. A small gabled wing made of flint and brick projects to the west, while a lean-to is located on the east side. Additionally, there is a later open-fronted cart lodge with a boarded upper storey at the north gable. Inside, the roof features tie beams with arch-braces supported by wall posts and corbels, and the butt purlins are arranged in two tiers.
