Description

Church Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse with later alterations, located in Reymerston. It is constructed of rendered timber frame with a plain tile roof. The farmhouse follows a lobby entrance plan and is two storeys high with an attic.

The garden facade features a single three-light mullion and transom window on the ground floor, and two doorways with gabled hoods. A trellis adorns the north porch. The first floor has three two-light and one three-light windows with metal casements. On the opposite facade, a gabled porch sits slightly off-centre, opposite a stack with four rebuilt angled shafts and a part-glazed panelled door. A single ground floor casement window is visible beside the porch; the rest of the ground floor is obscured by a single-storeyed lean-to. The first floor of this facade has two three-light and one single-light windows, also with metal casements. An axial stack with four rebuilt angled shafts is centrally positioned. A single-storeyed service extension adjoins one side of the farmhouse.
