Description
The remains of the Church of St Mary Magdalene consist of the surviving eastern and northern walls of a former chapel, which date from the medieval period and later. The structure is built of flint with ashlar dressings and has undergone brick repairs. Notable features include a Norman doorway with a semi-circular arch on the internal face of the wall, which has been reduced in brickwork on the external face. Additionally, there are remnants of a late-medieval east window, featuring tracery stubs.
