Description
Manor House is a farmhouse dating from around 1830. It is constructed of gault brick and some flint, with a slate roof on the main block and a pantile roof on the rear. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical three-bay facade with sash windows that have glazing bars, all set beneath skewback arches. The central entrance consists of a two-leaf partly glazed front door topped by a rectangular fanlight, which also contains glazing bars and forms a segmental arch. A fine Doric porch enhances the entrance, supported by two fluted columns and pilasters, with an entablature that includes triglyphs and guttae boards. The house has wide eaves supported by paired plain brackets and a hipped roof.
