Description

The cross base, located immediately east of the east churchyard wall in Beachamwell, is a medieval structure made of limestone. It features a square base and a shaft with a rectangular section. Notably, the letter G is carved on one side of the base, indicating that it was once used as a boundary marker for Glebe land. The cross base was moved to its current location in 1981.
