Description

Woodwell Furlong is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is timber framed with rendered and colorwashed infill, topped by a thatched roof. The building has a lobby entrance plan and stands two storeys tall. On the left side, there is a 20th-century canted porch, while to the right, there is a timber doorcase with a panelled door. Each floor features three 19th-century tripartite sash windows, with 20th-century shutters on the ground floor. The roof is gabled and has ridge stacks positioned above the left door and an internal stack at the east end, which is above a brick gable wall from the 18th century, complete with kneelers and a flat brick string course at the eaves.
