Description
The stables and coach house to Holme Hale Hall is a former stable building from the early 19th century and later. It is constructed of brick with gault brick cornices and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys in part and has a symmetrical facade with seven bays. The outer bays contain two coach entrances beneath segmental arches, while the centre bay has an inserted 20th-century cart entrance. All windows are boarded over. The ground floor windows are recessed within semicircular-headed arches, and the first floor has windows, two of which are blind, set beneath segmental arches. The centre bay is slightly advanced and features a gabled design with a circular window. The building is adorned with dentil cornices and has a hipped roof topped with a central bellcote that supports a weather vane. This structure is included for its group value.
