Description

The dovecote at Holme Hale Hall is a derelict structure from the early 19th century. It is built of brick and has a circular plan, although the roof covering is not discernible. The building is almost completely covered in ivy and consists of two storeys. There is a doorway on the ground floor and a pair of opposed openings on the upper floor. The dovecote features a conical roof and contains nesting boxes made of timber.
