Description

This is a headstone located 2 meters southeast of the southwest tower buttress in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary in Kenninghall. It dates from 1710 and is made of limestone. The inscription is illegible. At the top, there is a cherub head that is flanked by swags on either side, leading down to carved skulls. These skulls are positioned above an hourglass, which is situated above crossed bones at the base corners. The design features swags across the base, creating a symmetrical composition.
