Description
The stables located about 15 meters northwest of Micklefield Hall date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped tiled roof. The building is single-storey with central garage doors topped by a shallow pediment that has a clock in an oculus within the tympanum. To the right, there are two stable doors and a 20-pane sash window with gauged brick flat arched heads. To the left, there are two doors and two 20-pane sashes with cambered heads. The eaves are decorated with modillions. The rear has glazing bar sashes, and there is a slate-roofed lean-to on the right side, which has flint walling at the return and rear. This building is included for its group value with Micklefield Hall.
