Description

Number 18 on High Street is a 19th-century building featuring a red brick facade and a Welsh slate roof. The structure has a gable that projects on the right side, leading to a taller wing, and includes a plastered section with a red brick chimneystack. It stands two storeys high with an attic and has one set of sash windows with vertical glazing bars, alongside two sets of sash windows. The shop front, also from the 19th century, has a cornice above the fascia. Inside, the building has a timber frame that dates back to the 16th or 17th century and is exposed for visibility. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 10 to 20 on the same side of the street.
