Description

Nos 14 and 16 on High Street are 17th century buildings that were refronted in the 18th century. They are constructed of red brick stretchers with blue headers and feature a tiled roof with a cross gable on the left side. The modern shop front has a cornice, while the first floor, which slightly projects on the left, includes one set of 1:2 sash windows with glazing bars. An ornamental scalloped bargeboard with a finial adds decorative detail. There is also a partly rebuilt 17th century red brick chimney stack with two joined diagonal shafts. Nos 10 to 20 (even) are part of a group.
