Description

Number 17 on High Street is a 18th-century building constructed with bed stretcher bricks and blue headers. It has two storeys and an L-shaped plan. The front features one sash window at the end and a three-light window on the ground floor in the gable end facing the street. The recessed wing includes two triple-light cambered arched sashes on the first floor and a canted wooden bay window on the ground floor. The roof is tiled, and there is a hall and porch addition with a pentice roof on the side of the front wing. Numbers 15 to 19 (odd) form a group.
