Alleyne's School, also known as The Old Grammar School, dates back to around 1561 and has undergone significant alterations and rebuilding. The building is constructed of red brick, with an original timber frame that is said to be visible on the inside. It features one storey and attics, a tiled roof, two windows, and two dormers.
