Description

No 1 on High Street is a late 17th century house made of red brick, topped with a steeply pitched tiled roof that is hipped on the left side. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring four flush casement windows that are three lights wide, with mullions and transoms set beneath cambered arches. The entrance boasts a six-panelled door, with two of the panels being glazed, framed by an architrave surround and topped with a frieze that has guttae above a raised panel, all supported by a hood on consoles.
