Description

No. 3 Branch Road is an 1831 cottage. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The roof is low-pitched and covered with slate. The exterior is predominantly red brick, with the upper and lower sections of the windows being raised brick panels, separated by recessed plaster panels. Wide brick quoins define the corners, with vertical areas of plaster between the quoins and panels, and also centrally. The windows are 3-light casement windows set in near-flush box frames, each with a segmental brick arch. A similar brick arch is above the doorway on the side return.
