Description

The White Horse Public House dates to the early 18th century. It is a two-storey, two-window building. The roof is steeply pitched and hipped, covered with tiles. The exterior is painted brick, with rendering on the first floor at the front, suggesting a rebuild incorporating an older structure. Tall, straight, projecting chimneys are located at each end. The first floor has three-light casement windows set in slightly projecting box frames. On the ground floor is a similar window, taller and with a transom. A hood is positioned above the central door, supported on curved brackets. A rear extension was added in the early 19th century.
