Description

The water mill at the corner of Bury Dell Lane is an 18th-century structure that is no longer in operation. It has three storeys and a basement, topped with a low-pitched slate roof. The building is constructed of red brick, featuring some random blue headers. The gable end facing the street has a weatherboarded second floor and above, while the lower part is cement rendered. There is only one modern attic window. The mill has several segmental-headed windows on the north and south sides, although most of the windows on the south side are blocked. Additionally, there are two tall segmental arched recesses and a loading door located on the first floor.
