Description

Aldwick Manor is a house dating to circa 1700, which was later recased in the late 18th or early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations. The exterior is roughcast on brick, and the roof is covered with plain tiles and is hipped. The house is in an L-shaped plan; the left-hand range has a timber frame structure. It is two storeys high with attics. The front elevation, with three windows, has a shallow-projecting centre bay and a 20th-century tiled porch. There are 20th-century mullioned and transomed casement windows, those on the ground floor set in shallow relieving arches. A semicircular dormer is located at the front, and three along the west side elevation. Two square red brick chimney stacks of circa 1700 are visible on both the rear and front ranges.
