Description
No. 131 Park Street Lane is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, some of which is partly vitrified, and features a steep-pitched plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with three slightly recessed windows that have segmental heads. The two windows on the right side of the ground floor are 10/10 sash windows, while the remaining window is a three-light glazing bar casement. There is a half-glazed door located centrally on the right, which is topped by a simple flat hood. The eaves are adorned with dentilled brickwork, and there are three small gabled casement dormers on the roof. A broad ridge stack is positioned towards the left side of the house. At the rear, there is a tall hipped staircase tower that includes a small gabled dormer, along with flanking lean-to ranges that have a catslide roof. The interior may possibly be from an earlier period.
