Description

This is a terrace of three cottages located in Church End, Sandridge. The rear of the property dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries, while the front facade was built in the mid-19th century. The rear section is timber-framed, while the front is constructed of chequered red brick with gauged brick lintels. The roof is covered with plain tiles.

The front of the terrace features three gables in a line, each containing 20th-century wooden casement windows. There are three 19th-century vertically panelled doors. The gables are topped with coped parapets and contain blank, chamfered attic panels. Three 19th-century chimney stacks are also present.

At the rear, the lowered plastered gable of the right-hand side of No. 4 reveals the original construction. Inside this part of the building, the ceilings are low, and the wall frame is exposed.
