Description
Apple Tree Cottage is a house from the 17th century that has been extended and altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast exterior and a thatched roof, along with brick stacks. The original layout consisted of three cells with a lobby entry, and the building is 1½ storeys high. There is an extruded entrance bay and four timber mullion and transom lattice casements, three of which are located to the left of the entrance. The cottage has two dormers and an external stack on the left gable. To the left, there is a half-hipped thatched roof over a one-bay extension and a 20th-century link block leading to a garage. On the right, there is a 20th-century cross wing featuring casements and a half-hipped tiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
