Description
Nos 60 to 78 Rushby Walk are a pair of terraces of grouped cottages built in 1911 by C M Crickmer. These cottages are part of a pioneering cul-de-sac development known as Rushby Walk, which also includes Nos 44 to 58. The buildings are one and a half storeys high, each featuring one window. They have tiled roofs with brick chimney stacks and roughcast walls. The large gabled dormers are fitted with three, five, and six light casement windows, and the gables are weather-boarded. Each cottage has a four light casement window with glazing bars and tile labels, as well as half-glazed doors topped with bracketed hoods. The original paintwork specification of cream for the walls and windows, and green for the doors has been preserved throughout.
