Description
No. 89 Tilehouse Street is a late 18th-century house constructed of red brick, featuring a low-pitched roof covered with Welsh slate and wide bracketed eaves cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has three sash windows set in reveals beneath flat arches. The first floor includes glazing bars, while the ground floor showcases a pair of 19th-century bay windows. The entrance consists of a door and fanlight with ornamental glazing bars, set within a round-headed panelled reveal. This is complemented by an elaborately carved surround that includes Doric pilasters, a modillioned entablature with paterae, and a modillioned open pediment. No. 85 and Nos. 87 to 89 Tilehouse Street form a group with this property.
