Description
Eagle House is a former public house, originally known as The Eagle Tavern, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of colour washed brick sitting on a knapped flint plinth. The building features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate and has an eaves cornice. It stands two storeys tall and has a band at the first floor level. The façade includes three sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals beneath stucco faced lintels. The central entrance door is flanked by a dummy fanlight and is topped with an archivolt that has imposts and a keyblock. There are single-storey wings on either side of the main structure, covered with old tiles and topped with pentice roofs.
