Description

The Priory is a large country house that has evolved from medieval times until the late 18th century. The most notable part of the building is the southern section, which was completely rebuilt around 1775 in the Adam style. However, there are also surviving details from the earlier priory buildings dating back to the 15th century, along with alterations made in the 17th century. The Priory, along with the Garden Bridge, Coach House, and stables, forms a cohesive group.
