Description

The stables at The Priory date from the 18th century and are constructed of red brick with a hip-ended Welsh slated roof. The building features a corbelled cornice and a central pediment above a slight projection at the front. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, with two windows on the outer sides and one in the center on the first floor. The windows are lattice casements, round-headed except for the right central first-floor window. There is an impost band at the ground floor level. The stables are part of a group that includes The Priory, the garden bridge, and the coach house.
