House, now shops, originally with living accommodation over. C17, refronted C18, and much altered C19 and C20. Timber-framed, colourwashed red brick front, with old tiled gambrel roof, with 2 box dormers with modern windows, behind parapet. 2 storeys and attics, moulded cornice. 4 first floor sash windows with divided glazing in reveals under rubbed flat arches. Ground floor has twin modern timber shopfronts, probably simplified reproductions of earlier C19 originals. Side elevation red brick, with blank arched recess on ground floor, plastered attic gable. C19, altered, 3 and 2 storey outshoots along Church Street frontage. Red brick, sash windows, Welsh slated roofs, modern rebuilt ground floor of 2 storey outshoot. Included for group value.
