Description
The granary at Hadham Park is an 18th-century building located at the east end of the south side of the yard, 16 metres east of the house. This small, three-bay structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, standing on a high red brick base. It features a steep gabled roof that is currently covered in corrugated iron. On the north side, there is a single central plank door that is accessed by steps, along with a small high blocked window next to the door. The interior includes roughly chamfered tie beams and plastered infill between the studs in the walls. The roof has been renewed, and there is a worn boarded floor. The south face has modern glazed infill. This granary is part of a courtyard group and is included for its group value.
