Description

The front garden wall and corner pavilions at Moor Place were built in 1938 by G Norman. The wall itself has a stone coping and four terra-cotta vases. The two corner pavilions are constructed of red brick with tile dressings and slate hipped roofs. They have a square plan and nearly square openings on their inner and west sides. These openings are framed by tile dressings and feature narrow side lights. The surrounds are of tile with herringbone tile lintels, incorporating central stone date or initial plaques. The east sides of the pavilions have square windows with semicircular extensions above and below, all within tile surrounds. The north pavilion connects with an 18th-century red brick garden wall. The structures are included in the list for their group value.
