Description

This is an early 17th-century house with alterations and additions from the 20th century. The house is timber-framed and has a roughcast exterior. It has a steeply pitched tiled roof and originally comprised two cells. The house is one storey high with an attic. The central entrance has a recessed panelled door and a later boarded and glazed pentice porch. There are unevenly spaced three-light flush frame lattice casement windows with small hoods; the central windows have metal-framed lights that open. Above the windows are similar three-light gabled dormers. An internal brick stack of the 18th or 19th century is located on the left end. The rear of the house has a catslide roof over a lean-to outshut. An early red brick stack is located at the rear of the right bay. To the right of centre is a small gabled wing, possibly a stair wing, which is weatherboarded and now incorporated into a 20th-century addition that extends to the left as a three-bay, single-storey range with recessed casements. There is a rear entrance to the addition. The interior has not been inspected.
