Description

Bury Lodge is a house dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It has a timber frame covered in roughcast and features steep thatched roofs. The building is two storeys high and faces west, with the roof stepping down to the north. It has casement windows with small panes and pointed heads. Bury Lodge served as a lodge to Great Hormead Bury located to the south and is noted for its picturesque appearance.
