Description

This is a barn located at Little Hadham Place, built in the early 19th century. It features a tall, timber-framed Dutch barn with four bays, facing northwest. The northwest bay is enclosed with weatherboarding, and the structure has a hipped slate roof supported by king post trusses. There are long, heavy braces extending from the posts to the wall plate, with shorter braces connecting to the tie beams. The walls are now fitted with double doors in each bay, and the barn has seen little alteration over the years.
